Softelectronic is well aware of in details with the WorldWide spread 7 G Tronic Automatic Transmission. We have found serious troubles with the gearbox, particularly with the electronic module plate.
This trouble, we think, is in the subcontractors of Mercedes Benz, the manufacturer of the particular module. The sorry thing is that nobody has thought about the common factors especially the conditions in which this module will be, as well as about the relevant sensors. Under temperature, vibration, humidity and other causes, it takes not a long time for these sensors and other troubles to arise.
- Y3/8n1 TURBINE SPEED SENSOR ( mostly )
- Y3/8n2 INTERNAL SPEED SENSOR
- Y3/8n3 OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR
- Y3/8s1 SELECTION RANGE SENSOR
Softelectronic is aware of not only the weak points in this module but also we can offer ready to be used solution which we guarantee that the module will be more solid and reliable. Softelectronic gives a two-year warrant, not only for the single part of the module, but for the whole module.
Considering the market conditions today we think that it is the only our good reason prevents us from giving a lifetime guarantee.
As for the software of the 7 G Tronic Transmission, we are also very well aware to the tiniest detail at the level of programming. Many people in this business may be astonished at our information. This is why we do not share this information in public so that we should not affect other big companies’ business interests.
Our opinion is that recent years Mercedes Benz has had some serious flaws concerning quality from the manufacturer of this particular electronic module.
A similar example is the engine control unit ( ECU) used in MB W216 and MB W221. BGA ( MPC564 and other )processors which are used in the computer are sensitive to temperature and vibration. The biggest mistake is to put the computer on the top of the engine, where temperature is expected to be the highest. Namely under this temperature and vibration, the processors defect and the computer dies – MB W221 S500.
Our Company’s aim is not only to eliminate troubles, but to improve the factory –manufactured products , by implementing our innovations.
We shall be grateful if we could cooperate with you and if you would value our proposition.
All the Best
